Touch-type Read and Spell has been available in Ireland since 2006 when the first centre was opened in Maynooth. Since the opening of this first centre, 25 new TTRS centres have been established all over Ireland. To date thousands of children and adults in Ireland have benefited from the TTRS programme with new students joining our many centres every week.

As well as these TTRS centres, there are over 80 educational institutions in Ireland using TTRS as part of their literacy and disability curriculums. These institutions include primary schools, secondary schools, third-level colleges, libraries, Adult Learning Centres, Youthreach centres, Community Training Centres, prisons and FAS training centres.
