currently running a successful TTRS course based at Highfield school in
Maidenhead. They are a registered charity and provide courses, information
and support for adult dyslexics as well as strategies for teachers and
employers of dyslexics in the Thames Valley area. |

The Hornsby Centre was founded by Prof Bevé Hornsby,
one of the leaders in the treatment of dyslexia in the United Kingdom and
one of the first speech therapists to become involved in the subject. She
became Head of the Word Blind Clinic at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and in
1973 started the first of the one year teacher training courses for
