Ireland: In 2008 under the direction of Tom Lawlor many more TTRS
Independent Centres have opened bringing the total to approximately
40 TTRS Independent Centres. In addition many more school, prison and
government adult literacy development centres throughout Ireland have
been trained and licensed to deliver TTRS.

Epping Forest College has been using TTRS since 2004 and the further training of staff on the 28th September enables further expansion of the successful TTRS course delivery in the brand new college buildings.

Launcleot Primary School, Lewisham, South London receive Teacher Training and pilot TTRS after reading about the success of the St Augustines RC Primary School, Lewisham sponsored by the Sage Trust.

Teacher training for the secondary staff at the St Mary Magdalene Academy in Islington was arranged after the primary section of the Academy received teacher training this April. The licence and training have been extended due to the success of the TTRS course and is now available to all parts of the Academy.

Derby College, England, requested further training in July 2008 for forty more teachers.

As a result of the teacher training Marion Davies says many more students will now benefit from using TTRS which has been an effective resource for developing literacy at the college for the past six years having been first established at the Wilmorton Learning Shop in 2002.
